If you would have asked me 15 years ago to write about my future self, it wouldn’t have included many of these things. You know why? Because my life’s journey has changed and shaped me (just like yours has), and I continue to grow and learn.
I never expected to be an entrepreneur, but here I am…and I LOVE it! Over the past 13 years, I have grown a business from the ground up. In addition, I worked as a corporate mentor and trained new business owners. Over the years, I became a leader and motivator and realized that riding shotgun with women as they worked hard to make their dreams come true was my true passion! Seeing others succeed and reach their goals was more exciting to me than achieving my own goals.
I love motivating people, building businesses, creative marketing, casting a vision and strategic planning. These wise words were spoken to me by one of my mentors when I was just getting started…

I’m constantly asking myself, “how did I get here?”. I’m a wannabe risk-taker but am usually overly prepared for whatever the thing is to consider my moves very risky. But here I am, over 20 years into my entrepreneurial journey, and my life continues to surprise me – in a good way!
I love being in charge of what I get to do each day and I want to help you do the same!
Over 8 years ago, I was encouraged by my good friend, Melissa, to check into purchasing a franchise within the same organization she belonged to. She was about 4 years into ownership and she thought I’d be great at operating my own, too. At that same time, my husband and I were dreaming of ways we could pay for our kids to go to college, a reality we’d be facing in just 4 years from that point. Since Melissa was experiencing success, I decided I could do it, too! In 2014, I’m became a legit entrepreneur. Before this time, I’d had a few side-hustles, but I’d never earned enough to really make a noticeable difference in our family’s income. But now, I had invested quite a bit of money + lots of sweat and tears into this endeavor.
During the hard days, and there will be hard days, I considered quitting, but I kept reciting this mantra to myself…
I didn’t come this far, to only come this far.
I’m so glad I didn’t stop when things got hard. My business did succeed and I met my financial goals, which was to pay CASH for two kids to go to college. In addition, I also discovered that I love leading teams of women and encouraging others to create the lives they’ve only dreamed of living. Let’s make your business dreams a reality.
